- This person needs to respect me.
- They need to listen to me now that I have a radio.
As a leader, the majority of your time should be acting in a way that will earn, gain or maintain respect from the people you are responsible for.
- This is done in conjunction with your regular tasks and responsibilities
The difference is you do every task better than you would otherwise do
